Welcome to the Healing Touch Presenter's Directory. Listed below are members of the Healing Touch Community who are qualified to present an Introduction to Healing Touch. We hope you will use their skills and knowledge to educate your organization, members and/or community about the benefits of Healing Touch. They can provide you with Healing Touch educational materials and assist you in setting up an Introduction to Healing Touch in your area.

Sarian HTCPCarole Sarian, a former Special Education teacher, is a professional writer and a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner in teacher training with the intention of teaching Healing Touch to parents of school age children, particularly those with the autistic label, to women in prisons, to hospice volunteers and to those who have completed the Twilight Brigade/Compassion in Action End-of-Life Care Training. She has also been trained in Comfort Touch®, Compassionate Touch® and will be training with Irene Smith of Everflowing, serving to deepen and enrich her ability to be of service to our elders and those who are actively dying. She and her husband are trainers for the Twilight Brigade/Compassion in Action, a National Organization which trains people to sit bedside with those who are actively dying, so that no one need die alone.” (www.TheTwilightBrigade.com) She is the Volunteer Coordinator for the Vietnam Veterans of San Diego STAND DOWN serving over 800 Veterans with the homeless label. She is currently completing course requirements for her National Massage Certification at Body mind College. Further, she is a Grief Specialist® and a Certified Integrative Breathwork Practitioner in the Eupsychia Process (www.Eupsychia.com) which takes participants on a 2 ½ hr. musical and vibrational journey into an altered state of consciousness by-passing years of talk therapy. She is also a practicing Zen Buddhist married to a Zen Buddhist priest and Hospice Chaplain with shared intentions of traveling a path of compassion throughout the country together on their Harley, continuing to offer trainings and lectures in State and Federal Prisons, VA Medical Centers, Women’s groups, Parent Support Groups and Conferences. Rumi is a Holistic Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of professional experience as a clinician and educator. Her own path to healing from a chronic illness led her to study Healing Touch along with many other complementary and alternative healing modalities. Her life mission is to promote self-sustainable health by cultivating awareness, encouraging action, and building communities. Colorado Judy Bott, BA and MA Ed., HTCP/IJudy Bott, BA and MA Ed, HTCP/I is a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner as well as an Instructor in training. She has a bachelor's and master's degree in education and has been a classroom teacher since 1980. Judy is a charter member of Healing Touch Professional Association. Judy has volunteered many hours with Hospice of Northern Colorado doing Healing Touch. She has had a part time practice in the field of Healing Touch since certification in 2006. Fee Range: I am willing to teach a 3 hour Healing Touch Introductory workshop at my office in Greeley for a fee of $30 per person. I am happy to customize an introduction presentation for a length of time that works for your organization (anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours) and to address issues specific to the population of your organization. Fees for out of state work to be determined. Travel Range: I am happy to travel to Northern Colorado cities or to Albuquerque, New Mexico and surrounding areas. Contact Information:  Dorothy Kuckuck, BA, HT Practitioner ApprenticeDorothy Kuckuck, BA Mathematics, and credentialed secondary education teacher, is a Healing Touch Practitioner Apprentice. She has been working in the energy field doing hands-on-healing for over 10 years. She is on the staff of the City of Loveland Chilson Recreation Center teaching Introduction to Healing Touch. Dorothy is a charter member of Healing Touch Professional Association and has a part-time practice in Healing Touch. Fee Range: I am willing to teach a 3 hour Healing Touch introductory workshop at my home office in Loveland for a fee of $20.00 per person. I am willing to teach at your place of business or alternate location. For alternate locations, the fee per person will be adjusted to cover the cost of room rental. I am happy to customize an intro presentation (from 30 minutes to 3 hours) to fit your organization’s needs. For non-profits, I am happy to waive the fee and will graciously accept your standard presenter’s stipend. Travel Considerations: I am willing to travel anywhere to Northern Colorado cities. I am willing to travel to other areas as long as travel expenses are included. Contact Information:  Lauri Pointer,BS, HTCP/ILauri Pointer, BS, HTCP/I is a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Instructor and a Certified Instructor of Journal to the Self with a full time private Healing Touch practice in Fort Collins, Colorado. She has a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Colorado State University with a Wellness Management Concentration. She is on the faculty at Front Range Community College as a part time instructor in the Holistic Health Practitioner Certificate program. Lauri is a charter member of Healing Touch Professional Association and has been enjoying a full time career in the field of Healing Touch and Journaling since 1998. Fee Range: I regularly teach a 3 hour Healing Touch Introductory workshop at my office in Fort Collins for a fee of $25 per person. I am happy to customize an intro presentation for a length that works for your organization (any where from 15 minutes to 3 hours) and to address issues specific to the population of your organization. I'm happy to waive the fee for non-profit organizations and/or will gratefully accept your standard presenter stipend. Travel Considerations: I am happy to travel to Northern Colorado cities to teach when I am available, and am happy to provide recommendations for other highly qualified Intro Class Presenters when I am not. Contact Information: Georgia Ines Hoster, MS, HTCP/I, CHT Ines is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Instructor and Hypnotherapist. She thinks that Healing Touch is one of the best kept secrets in the healing arts and that it has a very bright future. Therefore, she is very dedicated to spreading the word about Healing Touch and has spent already uncountable hours giving introductions to Healing Touch in the US and Germany. She is enthusiastic about the many applications of Healing Touch, its integration as a therapy into main stream healthcare and the healing it can bring into every family. Once people open up to energy work and Healing Touch, they can always find or give help and that is empowering! Background: She founded Healing Quest, her private practice, in 1998, to assist her clients with stress management, chronic and acute pain relief, relaxation, meditation, guided imagery and trauma release together with toning, Bach Flower Remedies and other nutritional supplements. Ines teaches all levels of Healing Touch classes and brought Healing Touch to Germany. She is the founder and director of Healing Touch Deutschland and is teaching students from other German speaking countries as well (Austria, Switzerland, and Northern Italy). She is very excited about the growth of her Healing Touch family in Europe and the many benefits Healing Touch has brought them and their clients. She is also a lay minister and chairs the Committee for Health and Well-Being at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta. Ines is a member of: Healing Touch Program Professional Association (HTPA), Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP), Buckhead Business Association (BBA), Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce (MACOC). She believes in networking! Fee Range: I charge $25 per participant for a three hour presentation, $20 for a two hour presentation. Travel Considerations: I am willing to travel anywhere, provided that my travel expenses are reimbursed and a minimum of 12 people. Since Atlanta has a great airport it is easy to fly anywhere. Richard Sahr BA, MA, HTCP, HTPA Richard Sahr taught Social Studies in the Schenectady City School System for 34 years. He has also taught classes in Tai Chi-Yang long form. He has been an organic gardener for over 30 years. In addition, after retiring from teaching, he started his own business building dry stone walls. Richard currently does Healing Touch Sessions at the Honest Weight Food Coop and at Albany Medical Center on a voluntary basis. He also accompanies patients into Pre-op, OR, and Post-op. Richard has a private practice at his home in East Nassau in upstate New York. He is a member of Healing Touch Professional Association. Fee Range: I am willing to teach a 3 hour Healing Touch introductory workshop at your place of business or at an alternative location for $20.00 per person. The fee will be adjusted to cover the cost of an alternative site. I am willing to adjust my presentation from 30 minutes to 3 hours and to modify it to address issues unique to your organization. For non profits I will accept your standard presenter stipend. Travel Considerations: I am willing to travel to places outside the Capital District as long as expenses are covered.
