Loy has a Bachelor of Nursing Degree and has nursed and taught in various capacities over the years. Loy was first introduced to healing touch through Healing Pathways and completed four levels before embarking on Healing Touch Program to become a certified practitioner and instructor. Loy is exploring Sound Therapy as a healing modality with completion of two levels. She has a home practice, volunteers at Wellsprings Calgary which provides treatments and support for cancer patients and their families. Loy is, as well involved in Pastoral Care through her church. Loy is very passionate in spreading the healing light and loves teaching Healing Touch Level 1 and offering Introductory sessions to Healing Touch. She is grateful to her husband and the church healing team for their support.
