Midwestern Regional Conference

We are thrilled to invite you to the beautiful city of Chicago for the 1st Annual Midwest Regional Healing Touch Conference as we come together in community to Celebrate Healing!

The privilege of sharing with Lisa Mentgen Gordon and hearing the latest in the Healing Touch Program is surely a highlight of the conference, as well as connecting with many from HT Communities throughout the Midwest.

The conference begins Friday, May 4, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. with an opportunity for socializing and refreshments and ends Saturday, May 5th with the closing ceremony. In between will be an action packed time of listening and sharing with others from the area. Space is limited so be sure to register early.

Conference Updates April 15:

We are so happy you will be coming (or "so happy to invite you") and so excited about how the very first Healing Touch Midwest Regional Conference is shaping up! In addition to the outstanding lineup of speakers sharing expertise in "heart to heart" client centered healing, there are a few important updates we want to share with you that I think you will appreciate.

• We have outgrown the Embassy Suites and have been relocated nearby to the Hyatt Hotel in Schaumburg. In essence it's an upgrade at the same price, there are more rooms available for us, everyone will be given the $99 room rate, and the hotels will automatically facilitate the transfer of all room reservations. You will be receiving a confirmation from the hotel before the Conference.

• The Pinning Ceremony for newly certified practitioners will be Friday evening. Please let Lois Coldewey ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. • Sue Hovland, founder of Anatomy for Healers, will be offering a post-conference workshop "Allergy Treatments for Healers" on Sunday May 6 for $160. It will meet in Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, about 12-15 minutes away. For the Workshop registration flyer, click here.

• We have a wonderful variety of vendors coming to the conference! Booths include  Healing Touch Program, Healing Touch Professional Association, Healing Touch Worldwide Foundation, Healing Partners of Greater Chicago, BioMat, Aura Photographer, DreamHats, Juice Plus, Young Living Essential Oils and more.

• Don't miss our Conference HEALERS BOOK SWAP in the vendor area!  If you have books on healing, wellness, self-care, quantum physics, etc. that need a new home, bring them along to donate or trade for others that you would like to read. Books that don't get taken will be donated to Open Books, a nonprofit social venture that operates an extraordinary bookstore, provides community programs, and mobilizes passionate volunteers to promote literacy to Chicago school children. • Let others know about your programs and offerings! Bring your business cards and program brochures to display at the Networking Table in the Vendor area.  Bring them to the table Friday and pick up what's left before you leave at the close of the Conference on Saturday.

• And there's the HTWF Raffle! The feature prize will be beautiful spiritual artwork by Mary Southard. The framed print was graciously donated by the artist herself, of the Sisters of St Joseph at The Well in LaGrange.  Support the Healing Touch Worldwide Foundation by buying raffle tickets for this and other great prizes.

We are looking forward to seeing you, celebrating, learning together and expanding our hearts as a community on May 4th. We now have much more room, and hope you pass this message along to friends and colleagues you feel would like to join us, whether as a participant or a vendor.

Continuing Education Credits
CE credits for nurses and massage therapists are available for conference and post conference participants. Certificates will be handed out at the end of conference.

Substitution/Cancellation Policy
General Conference: Please notify HTP of any substitutions in writing. The appropriate registration fee will be applied to the substitute attendee. A refund (minus a $50 cancellation fee) will be given if received before the start of the event. Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing. Refunds will not be given for cancellations received after April 20, 2012.
