Friday Evening

Friday night is a free night to enjoy the River Walk and spend time with friends. One thing you won’t want to miss is the concert The Bliss of the Connected Soul – a Musical Experience, offered by Richard Shulman. You can mosey down the River Walk, have a wonderful dinner with friends and still experience this soul awakening musical event. Richard’s concert received rave reviews last year and we were delighted when he said “yes” to joining us again this year.

Friday evening, August 26 from 8:30p.m. - 9:30p.m.

Music, like energy work has the ability to circumvent the rational mind and invite direct experience of our essential nature. Setting an intent of "Music for the highest and greatest good for the audience," Shulman will follow the inner musical stream that responds to this prayer. The musical experience will also include songs from his healing theatrical musical, "A Dream of Camelot."

Richard Shulman is best known in the Healing Touch community through his CDs "First Rites" and "Sacred Music for Healing Hands, Vol. 1 & 2" which were created in cooperation with Healing Touch practitioners. A composer, pianist, and recording artist, Shulman has been creating music for meditation and Divine connection since 1984. He uses his skills as a jazz, classical, and healing-music keyboardist to create music to assist groups and individuals in embodying their own spiritual essence. Richard tours doing solo and group concerts and has produced 24 albums on the RichHeart Music label. His current project is the production of a theatrical musical entitled "A Dream of Camelot." www.richheartmusic.com.

 

 

 

Banquet - Saturday Evening

Saturday evening festivities will begin with a cash bar starting at 6:00. The Grand Hyatt has a world class catering service and we expect dinner to be absolutely delicious. (Dinner is included in your registration.) After dinner, the Swami Beyondannada will exponentially increase our daily laughter quotient and open our minds to new ways of thinking (see description below). Continuing in this funfilled vein, Healing Touch Worldwide Foundation will ask us to open our pocketbooks and support their community endeavors by purchasing the wonderful and amazing pieces that have been dontated for auction. Intermingled throughout the foundation auction will be skits by our equally amazing and talented HT Community members. Don't miss this Event of the Year!

The Upwising Has Begun!
Featuring the Cosmic Comedy and Wacky Wisdom of Swami Beyondananda

Swami Beyondananda is a highly acclaimed keynote speaker and performer whose specialty is using mind-opening comedy to create heart-opening laughter. For the past 23 years, the Swami (in reality humorist and author Steve Bhaerman) has performed at conferences and conventions, for business groups and at spiritual centers, at theaters, community centers and new thought churches. Swami's comedy has been described both as "comedy disguised as wisdom" and "wisdom disguised as comedy." A unique feature of his performance is spontaneously answering live questions from the audience. Or, as the Swami puts it, "I will answer your questions, and you will question my answers!" While the show is hilariously funny, it not only leaves 'em laughing, it leaves them smiling. Bottom line: Swami's performance is perfect for those who love to laugh ... and those who need to.
