HTP Accreditation

As you know, HTP is working toward accreditation through The National Commission for Certifying Agencies, NCCA. For the last several months we have been giving you an update in the Community Newsletter about the progress we are making.

This month, we would like to direct your attention to the Accreditation Fact Sheet in the September issue of Energy Magazine. This fact sheet can be found on page 14 of the magazine and will answer many of the questions you may have concerning accreditation. Click here for the September issue of Energy Magazine.

Find a Mentor or Qualified Mentor

Are you working toward Healing Touch Certification? The Healing Touch Practitioner website provides students the ability to search for Mentors and Qualified Mentors. Reminder – as of January 1, 2011 all supervising mentors must be Qualified Mentors. Click here for the HT Practitioner website.

Proposals are now being accepted for the 2011 conference Breakout Sessions and Post Conference Workshops. To download proposal information and application click here.
Proposals are due no later than November 12th, 2010. If you have questions, please email conference@healingtouchprogram.com.

Practitioner Certification Packets

Are you getting ready to submit your Healing Touch Certification packet? We wanted to remind you that the last date you can submit your packet in 2010 is November 1st. The next submittal date is February 1st, 2011. Certification information can be found on the HTP website at http://www.healingtouchprogram.com/classes/certification/practitioner-certification.

Create and Teach Workshops – People Want to Learn What You Know!

Cherry-Lee has had a private healing practice since 2003 and has done nothing else since 2005. She is certified in both Healing Touch and Shamanic Healing. Over time Cherry-Lee has created additions to her practice to increase her offerings and thus increase her income. Some of those additional offerings are classes, workshops and tele-seminars.

Although Cherry-Lee’s creating & giving classes, workshops and tele-seminars comes naturally, due to her elementary to middle graduate teaching background, she sincerely believes all of us can create such offerings and benefit by doing this even though we don’t have teaching credentials. She says that offering activities like workshops, allows you to share your knowledge on your terms. She also says that it will help you reach more people, increase your client base, thus increase your income and that their fun to create and give. We will learn “how to” basics and will be inspired by her enthusiasm and successes.

Anatomy for Healers® Program

Can learning anatomy benefit your energy practice and also be fun? You bet!

This unique hands-on approach integrating the knowledge of anatomy with the energy system of the body is appropriate for people who are new to anatomy as well as nurses and others who have studied conventional anatomy before. Anatomy is discussed on a body systems approach, with lecture, visuals, props, and energy aspects. Then building on a firm foundation in Healing Touch, Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry, or other energy therapy, new energy techniques are learned to experience energetically and treat most of the body systems and organs. In addition, we have a good time interacting with other healers while experiencing the sacred miracle of the human body! This is an advanced practice study for experienced healers, HT Level 3 or similar. The 3 levels of Anatomy workshops are founded and directed by Sue Hovland, RN, BSN, CMT, HTCP/I.
